Goa is famous in India for its relaxing and laid-back nature. By the way, it is also hugely popular among the foreign travelers across the geography. Be it bachelors, be it honeymooners, be it campers, be it party craving fellows – nobody gives a second thought. Its Goa, baby !!

This blog captures the beautiful moments that we had enjoyed during our trip. We started our journey from Bangalore to Goa with an Air-Asia flight.

It was an hour and a half long trip. The Bangalore airport is also known as Kempegowda International Airport.

Our flight ran on the scheduled time and reached Goa International Airport which is also known as Dabolim Airport.

The flight experience was average because of the discomfort we faced due to the bad quality chairs.

We took our time to exit the airport . The airport pickup and airport drop was provided by the hotel itself. The attending person was polite and the vehicle(car) was comfortable with ample space for luggage.

Our hotel was Park Regis which was located in Arpora (North Goa). We did the check-in formalities and moved to our room. The reception area was huge and well-maintained.

We entered the room and we liked it in the first sight itself. The bathroom was big and furnished with all the amenities.

We took rest for a while. By the time we woke up, the dinner time was over. We requested the hotel staff if they could prepare food for us. They agreed and prepared veg and non-veg food for both of us.

I will be extremely honest – the food was super-delicious. We both liked the food and thanked everyone from the bottom of our heart. Then, we retired for the night.

We woke up with a fresh mood, the next morning. We had a delightful breakfast buffet. We hired an Honda-Activa (two wheeler) from outside of our hotel. It cost us around 350 INR( the prices vary from 300 INR to 450 INR).

The best way to roam around Goa is by hiring a two wheeler. It has a wide range from Activa to Royal Enfield. People do hire 4 wheelers too.

We started from our hotel and wander on the roads without any destination. There is a special feel to drive in Goa. Then, we decided to visit Calangute Beach. It is one of the famous beaches in North Goa.

After spending some quality time there, we then moved ahead to the next adjoining beach – Baga Beach. This is the most happening beach in North Goa, being a party hub location.

Lots of sports activities – banana ride, parasailing and many more, happens here. The beach is full of beach side shacks where you can have great food along with alcohol and indulge in a beautiful sea view.

During our 5 nights stay in Goa, we visited other beaches – Vagator beach, Anjuna beach, Candolim beach, Aguada beach, Ashwem beach and many more.

We also visited few popular churches in Goa like Basilica of Bom Jesus and Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.

Now, there are few favourite things which we would like to recommend/advise to the fellow travelers when they visit Goa. Surely, we did not visit many things. And, therefore, we will keep coming back to Goa !!

Our Favourite Beach

Ashwem beach without a doubt. We both liked this beach. It was secluded – not much crowd- the water was clean comparatively to other beaches. One thing to note though- there were very less shacks. So, if you plan to go there, be prepared with food/water – just in case.

Popular Market Spree

Saturday night market, Agonda Wednesday market are few other attractions where we spent our quality time and recommend you all too.

Clubbing in Goa

This place has no shortage of clubs. Mostly, all parties happen on North side of Goa and South Goa is for to explore the excellent restaurants, churches etc.

Tito’s Club at Baga beach, Antares Restaurant and Club at Vagator beach, Club Cabana on top of Arpora Hill, Curlies at Anjuna beach and many more.

Special Attraction – Casino

Goa has Casinos on Mandovi river water. They are not allowed to operate on Goan land and hence, this restriction laid foundation to one of the most unique casinos in India.

All casino houses have their ticketing counter at the shore. A small boat will carry all the people to a big ship – main Casino area. Few popular names are Deltin Royale, Casino Pride etc.

In the end, we can say that the vibe of Goa clicked with us. We decided to come to Goa many many more times. We had spend 5N/6D and still it felt that there was so much to explore. With very heavy heart, we had to bid goodbye to Goa !!
